the Ambassador and the Chair of the Holland House

“These are difficult and unprecedented times and I am very proud that together with the Holland House Chile we are able to continue to support commerce between Chile and the Netherlands in a digital way with innovative and interactive tools and enthusiastic people” says ambassador Carmen Gonsalves.

“Under normal circumstances we would prefer to do that through meetings and events” adds Wim Stam, chairperson of the Holland House Chile “Digital will never be able to replace the human and subtle side of diplomacy. So, while we’re looking forward to see you again in real life, the Netherlands e-embassy in Santiago and the e-Holland House Chile are open for business, online.”

”And who knows” adds ambassador Carmen Gonsalves, “this integrated online platform may eventually turn out to be an extra tool in the tool kit for supporting Dutch business and Dutch citizens, especially for those that are not ready yet to cross the ocean and the beautiful Andes mountains”.
